Like you, I began asking myself such questions in my teens while attending a Catholic school in Australia. Although I am very grateful for the excellent education I received from the sisters of charity, they did not convince me that God is as He is presented by the Catholic religion. As millions of others, I could not reconcile a loving God with all the suffering in the world. Also bad people doing bad things and being absolved of all blame and responsibility by simply “confessing their sins”. This to me wasn't fair and didn't make any sense. I matriculated from the school with the belief in the love of God and determination to find out more one day. 

My life after school was very much like everyone else's. Being a Sagittarius, I wanted to see the world so I embarked on travel. After a while, I felt the need to pursue knowledge so I enrolled at the University of Sydney to study German, Fine Arts, Psychology and Philosophy. While there, I had an opportunity to attend its Counselling Service and to return to the following questions: 
 

Where you came from ?

What your life is about ?

Where you're going to?

What happens after you die?

If there is a God?

Who/What is He?


The Jungian psychologist  I worked with certainly set me on a path to introspection but was limited by his training in providing the deeper answers I was seeking.  The time to uncover these came a few years later,  following my father's death.  Like a clockwork,  when I turned 29 and faced my first Saturn return.

Even though I returned to the psychologist for therapy,  I was driven by a need to know more.  Because of this strong desire,  all sorts of doors started to open up for me,  strange people entering my life and “weird” books falling into my hands. As much as I wanted to learn,  the new information about  my real self was so different to what  I was taught  all my life that I found it quite threatening.  It took my ego and circumstance in my life at the time almost three years to start accepting it.

During this time, I developed a range of autoimmune diseases and spent two years visiting doctors,  in the hope of healing them. Unfortunately,  I was only getting worse and worn out from the never  ending visits, tests and often condescending doctors who could not help me.  The time came when I felt I didn't have much longer  to stay on this planet and had to make up my mind if this was what I wanted.  Something was pushing me to stay and forced me to look elsewhere to get better.

I have been on an incredible journey since I made that decision.  Almost 25 years ago. Having gathered a lot of knowledge,  I would now like to share it with others through  my  InnerMe venture to offer the following:
