First new steps (2004)



Being a reasonably positive and strong person, I worked my way through the death of my father, Milan’s attempted murders, deaths of my three beloved dogs, times of extreme financial hardship, exhausting dealings with solicitors and the media. As well as a frightened, negative mother who did everything she could not to help me sort out her affairs, thinking I would take all from her. Every single day I had to muster all my strength to push back constant thoughts of suicide, to put an end to the never ending suffering. Not only emotional but also physical. The incredible stress I was under caused unbearable pain in my entire back and I could hardly move. Even massages were painful.

My Gestalt psychologist Bob helped me to understand that if I was to survive on this planet, I had to change and change totally. The choice was either to behave the way I did until now and possibly leave the planet soon or to start changing and living a very different life. Something in me wanted to live so I chose the latter. Not only did I start changing my outlook and behaviour but I also attended Feldenkreis and Alexander Technique classes to heal the physical pain in my body.

Yet another year passed and the new me was slowly being formed as I hoped the worst was over. Then in 1988 - out of the blue - came a call that a friend of mine, Darryl, had just died in a motorbike accident. One day after his birthday and a day before he was to leave for his native USA. This was the breaking point as all my feelings for him rushed through me, caused an emotional overload of the already weak immune system and the emotionally and physically excruciating explosion of my four lower chakras. The three top ones were left damaged, as was my entire immune system.

At this stage, therapy alone wasn’t providing the answers and I needed a lot more help. Many other avenues soon opened up for me and brought me understanding of what was happening to me, as well as gradual emotional energy releasing and soul healing. Apart from everything else, I learnt that most human beings have approximately 600 lives on this planet before they are ready to progress to the next dimension. I was also told that this was my 559th life and was totally astounded by this number. My biggest regret is that I had wasted so much time in the past and learnt so little.

Having gathered a lot of knowledge over the past 25 years, the main aim of my InnerMe venture is:

  • to connect people to their own guidance

  • to help them remember what lessons they are here for

  • to help them master their lessons and balance their souls

  • to teach them about all of the above through my own experiences and share theirs

  • to link them to other helpful people, sites, services and products worldwide

  • to facilitate their learning in this lifetime so they can move forward faster without having to come back 600 times!

Lessons learnt:

  • you are a spiritual being with more than one body

  • you have a purpose in each life and guidance to help you attain it

  • you can change your life

About the Author
Mira Mikulic, a Bachelor of Arts graduate in Philosophy with Honours in German, has primarily worked in the corporate world for over 25 years as an Executive Assistant to Managing Directors and also as an Office Manager. She devoted a lot of her free time to voluntary work with the dying and various other organisations, including Silva and Think and Grow Rich seminars, the Hunger Project and the Salvation Army. During this time, she has been on an incredible journey of self discovery which she would now like to share with all those who are trying to make sense of their lives or seek to heal their ailments.
