My Soul's Karma (2007)



Karma is a lesson that I had struggled with in all my previous lives and seem to be mastering at long last in this life! Having been able to access a number of relevant past lives, I came to understand my lessons in this life. I am aware that I had left my good and evil mark on this planet during my many lives and undertook to balance a big load of my karma this time. Having often been a military leader, among other things, killing used to be a natural part of many lives. Karma kept accumulating with interest and the lessons became harder and harder to face in each new life.

Because I am so keen for this to be my last life on this planet, I am finally ready to accept my evil deeds, take responsibility for my karma and balance it. My difficult life and “incurable” illnesses are helping me achieve this goal. Some of my healers assisted me in asking the spiritual hierarchy to clear my karma, for healing these illnesses. Part of it did get cleared when I showed remorse and understanding of my evil actions. But a lot of it didn’t as it formed valuable lessons still waiting to be learnt. Although I have a highly developed sense of right and wrong in this life, it seems that I’m only just now understanding how not to play the judge and dispense punishment! I am being tested on this constantly and need to keep reminding myself of the true purpose of karma and that any “revenge” is God’s, not mine!!!

I had an extremely testing time with this with Milan, as I wouldn’t have had any problems killing him, given a chance! During the three years we waited to bring him to trial, I prayed to God not to let us cross our paths, for this reason. My prayers were heard and I was given an opportunity to bring him to justice. Milan received a very appropriate sentence for his crimes and was given a chance to learn from it. I was equally pleased to finally balance and finalise my karmic lessons with him. Our work as soul mates had been completed and we will not cross paths again. This difficult experience gave me the strength and trust to handle all my subsequent karmic lessons, whether with family, friends, people at work or more criminals, in a more confident, easier and successful manner.

Make no mistake, when I am wronged, I will always stand up for my rights and seek justice. And I also assist others to do so. However, these days I know better than to dispense my own punishment! Instead, I leave it to the Universe and the very just law of karma. For during this time of quickening, I observe karma at work if not immediately, then usually within 2-3 years. As with the difficult lesson of forgiveness, this quicker manifestation of karma makes my own karmic lessons easier to understand, bear and finalise.

These days, I often hear people denying karma through various arguments emanating from their egos. The common one is “not buying into it, therefore not feeding it” in the faint hope that they will not be affected by it! This is the same as little children placing their hands over their eyes and pretending to be invisible! They might as well also believe that what goes up, won’t come down or that the earth is flat! This sticking their heads into the sand and denying opportunities for spiritual growth will only cause their souls to yearn for them more. Opportunities will keep appearing in their lives until the lessons are mastered. However, all future ones will be harder, to ensure they will learn from them next time!

Another wonderful denial of karma is also the denial of the soul’s plan and the belief that we were put here to lead a “happy life”! The underlying thought behind this is the premise that we are already perfect souls, that there is no evolution and therefore no quickening of time, etc, etc. To me, these kinds of arguments come from young souls’ egos that have not yet learnt the soul’s purpose and path. The Earth’s faster revolutions are a measurable physical reality. And you only need to look around you to see how well the “happy life” principle is working on this planet! If it was correct, surely it would be a simple matter of educating humanity about it to usher in change. Unfortunately, the sorry state of our planet speaks volumes for this line of thinking.
Lessons learnt:

  • Our planet, continents and counties have their own plans and karma

  • Universal law overrides any other laws on this planet

  • Sooner or later, you will be required to balance all of your actions, regardless of any of your beliefs

  • Acceptance and forgiveness will assist you with this
