In 1992, all the autoimmune illnesses still ravaged my body as I desperately searched for their cures. Medical or alternative. Not making much progress. Various healers visited the spiritual church I attended at the time and all of us had the opportunity to try their different healing methods. Qigong was one of the most interesting ones for me, for balancing body and mind. I was getting impatient with my lack of healing and started to question not only the medical methods but also those practiced in the church. I noticed more and more people being dissatisfied with the church and not getting any results. When I mentioned this to Adam, he informed me that the spiritual church in question was run from the astral levels, i.e. the lower basic ones instead of the higher ones and that the management was more interested in control rather than in spiritual development! I decided to sever my association with it immediately. I am sad to see that almost 20 years later, not much has changed in it.

By now, I had undergone a few years of numerous ineffective treatments and had learnt a lot about my spiritual self. Many interesting people entered my life, offering healing, advice and spiritual growth. They taught me about the relationship between my spiritual self and my physical body, explaining that whenever we are on the right path, there is no inner conflict and therefore no manifestation of any illnesses. However, if we are not on our chosen path, we will yearn more and more for it and will be given more opportunities during a particular life time. Should we choose to ignore them, they will present themselves again in subsequent, more difficult lives until the soul’s lessons are learnt. Therefore, learning lessons and not wasting time is the aim of each precious physical life on this planet.

As well as visiting many doctors and alternative practitioners, I continued to read many books. Louise Hays’ “You can Heal your life” became my health bible as I searched for the causes of my own illnesses. All my symptoms pointed to a lot of anger and frustration, especially with indifferent and uncaring men. Following rapid personal growth, I started to develop a different kind of presence and could literally feel my soul being twisted, turned and moulded into something else! Not only did I start to attract different people but also animals. I had very loving relationships with all our family dogs and many people were quite astounded how their pets that never came anywhere near strangers, snuggled up to me and showered their attention on me! A good lesson to remember – watch your pets with strangers, they are excellent judges of character, note their reaction. Let them assist you in assessing the kind of people you have around you, they could literally save your life.

Unfortunately, one of the effects of my physical suffering and insatiable thirst for the new found spiritual knowledge was the opening of my aura  to so called “mischievous” spirits. As a gregarious Sagittarius, I always saw the best in people and befriended many that I shouldn’t have, often to my detriment. At this time in my life, not only did I have many undesirable “friends” but also spirits who were manipulating me for their own aims. Some were mischievous and harmless but others were “demonic” and harmful. As happens with many schizophrenics, some of these harmful ones tried to drive me into negativity and suicide. I blocked them by not allowing one thought to enter my head while constantly repeating the phrase “In God I trust”. Margaret continued cleansing, balancing and closing my aura as we cleared the various blockages and entities in my spiritual bodies. I recall one very productive session where I had a big pipe running from my solar plexus straight to the sun as I pumped a lot of anger out. At one stage, my sick eye burst on one of these levels and I could see a lot of slime and blood pouring out. I felt very light and clean when it was all gone, as if I’d lost at least 5kgs. While we worked like this, Margaret picked up a whole range of other food allergies. I can certainly say that my health and state of being had improved considerably since I stopped eating those foods. Also after heeding advice of Peter D'Adamo regarding suitable foods for each blood group.

As far as the medical treatments were concerned, all tests proved as inconclusive as the treatments. I was fed up with the rude interns in the eye hospital and doctors who were unable to help me. Two optometrists close to my work became my best allies as one of them researched iritis and both kept better check on it for me. They referred me to specialists for treatment and I soon became a very valuable patient with my chronic illness that just wouldn’t heal. The doctors were only too keen to try various harmful approaches but I had my own ideas, especially powerful and effective visualisations. One of the more progressive ones, who is also an alternative practitioner, treated me with laser acupuncture which certainly controlled the pressure in my left eye, raised by the steroid drops. After the eyeball increased considerably from them! He also put me on powerful bilberry juice which had the same effect on pressure. A well known Sydney professor specialising in iritis was just starting an experimental program with patients on long term antibiotics and I was encouraged to join. When I heard of the possible side effects, including cancer, I decided to give it a miss. Just as well as the eventual results were also inconclusive and very little is still known about this common yet dangerous illness.

After almost three years of struggle and no results, the doctors were certainly at a loss as to what to do with me. I accepted only minimal treatments from them that prevented me from going blind. But I was far from healed so they suggested an age old remedy, i.e. a change of scenery and a move out of Australia. Nothing was holding me here as I considered where to go. I had always missed my home in Czechoslovakia and since it was a few years after the fall of communism, I decided to build a new life in Prague. As with all important decisions, I had a very detailed spiritual reading before I made the move. I was told it would be beneficial for me in terms of healing. I was again warned about treachery and negative people/spirits, as well as a lesson in money, i.e. lack of it like during this entire life so as to keep me on my spiritual path. Was being prepared for lack of love and lots of frustration. Three men also featured prominently in the reading, all parallel soul mates. I was reminded that I had put restrictions on relationships in this life because of my past bad experiences with men and also because of my own preference to work through other issues at this time.

I recognised one of the men as Mike, crossing paths with him occasionally to resolve and release certain issues. Because of my oaths, there was very little chance of a relationship possibility but a very good one of friendship, if we both stopped for long enough to get to know each other! Having already blown two possibilities, I was assured a third one in the future. There was a lot more information about the second man, although kept very vague. I was told he was an entrepreneur businessman, with interests in different cities, travelling a lot. That he was possibly from Switzerland as the medium was shown a red cross in a white field and that he lived in a beautiful city with lots of domes, archways and near a bridge. That he was performing some kind of service, had a lot of old books around him, enjoyed the fine life, was controlled with his emotions because of past hurts and was also very busy! Again, there were obstacles to this relationship that wasn’t going to go anywhere. The third man was described as an Indian yogi, strong mystic with a strong past life connection.

Having assisted my friend Dana depart this planet a few weeks earlier, I took mum with me to the nursing home to say goodbye to its residents and the staff I shared so much with. I was very sorry to leave them, many were sad too and promised to look after me. Lot of them kept their promise. At the same time, I was very excited about the new life ahead as I left for Europe in August 1992.

Lessons learnt:

• You are a spiritual being having a human experience
  
  
• Inner conflicts inside your spiritual bodies manifest as illnesses in your physical body 

• You can heal your physical illnesses by resolving the inner conflicts inside your spiritual bodies and progressing on your chosen spiritual path
