As is the case with most people, Mira's interest
in God, death, reincarnation and her spiritual self began after numerous crises in her life.
These were literally "earth shattering" and forced her to into a conscious desire and effort to learn and change. As a result of this, all
doors to her "real existence" soon started opening to her. Following on from her philosophy studies and years in
therapy, she began to think more about her life's purpose, religion, consciousness, free will and
afterlife.
Mira fondly recalls her dear Austrian friend
Helen's recent remark on this alternative existence: "if there was such a spirit world and the divine beings
you talk about, surely there would be a lot written about them!" Admittedly, there are many countries, including
Austria, where such spiritual knowledge is not common and readily available. And if it is, it is shrouded
in much secrecy and mysticism. For example, even a recent Australian survey of young people showed them
considering the figure of Jesus "a legend!"
On the other hand, this ancient knowledge had been
preserved in many old cultures. Especially in the East. It is also freely available in liberal countries
such as the US, UK and Australia. Mira is very pleased that it is gradually finding its way into her
former homeland and the rest of old communist counties.
