Mira's Inspirations - Movies





Being a very visual person, when young, Mira dreamed of becoming a film director. She could see many life situations in terms of films. Even today, pictures and scenes keep popping into her mind. Already in her younger days, Mira wanted to make comedies, to use her sense of humour to make people laugh and bring joy and happiness into their lives.

Even though she did get a chance to work in film and TV after finishing her university studies, Mira's entire life direction changed after the death of her father. The Saturn return showed her a new life path, that of a teacher and a healer through a different medium. Because of the many lessons she herself still had to master, Mira's time to teach and heal is only just beginning, particularly through this venture.

Nevertheless, Mira still enjoys the movies and has amassed quite a large dvd collection. Again, as with music, Mira chooses positive films either dealing with history - from which there is lots to learn, love, music or positive life lessons. She also loves to have a good laugh through comedy and is always on the lookout for "different" films that stretch the mind and challenge every day thinking, e.g. science fiction and supernatural films. She is a "Trekkie" from the begining of the Star Trek series and films, as well as totally addicted to XFiles and Dark Skies. Not forgetting the new crop of TV series such as Medium and the Ghost Whisperer.
